Kidd has played in the NBA for 18 years and signed with the New York Knicks on July 5 with a three-year $9.5 million dollar deal. He is also known to have high profile friends such as Jay-Z, and celebrity news reports that on the night of his DUI arrest he was “returning home after attending singer Ne-Yo and George Lucas’ ‘Fostering a Legacy’ benefit in East Hampton, New York.”
