Bobby Brown Arrested on Suspicion of DUI

TMZ reports that Bobby Brown was arrested Wednesday morning at 1:00 a.m. in Los Angeles for driving under the influence (DUI). Brown was booked in the Van Nuys jail and released after posting bail.

This is not the first DUI arrest for Bobby Brown who was also arrested for drunk driving in March and previously in 1996. He pleaded no contest to these charges but ended up in rehab. He has also gained some notoriety for pioneering what has been called New Jack Swing which is a combination of Rhythm and Blues and hip-hop. Brown was recently known as the ex-husband of pop singer sensation Whitney Houston, who died late last year. The two co-starred on their reality show Being Bobby Brown. He and Whitney Houston had one daughter together named Bobbi Kristina, born March 4, 1993. He also has three more children by two different women before marrying Whitney Houston.

Hall of Fame Catcher Carlton Fish arrested for DUI

The Associated Press reports that Hall of Fame catcher Carlton Fisk has been arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) after he was found by New Lenox police on Tuesday night asleep in a cornfield in his pickup truck. He was taken to the local area hospital for treatment and released from police custody when he posted bail. He will have to appear in court on November 29, 2012. He will be charged with drunk driving, illegal transportation of alcohol and lane use violations. Carlton Fisk is best known for his baseball career with the Red Sox, which lasted for eleven seasons, and his time with the Chicago White Sox, which lasted thirteen seasons. His most exciting career moment came when he belted a 12th-inning home run that won Game 6 of the 1975 World Series.
