A vehicle can be any type of device which is used to transport persons or cargo. Under state's DUI laws it is illegal to operate a motorized vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Under the influence is assumed if a driver's BAC is 0.08% or higher or if the driver is unable to safely operate the vehicle due to mental or physical impairments.
