Nebraska State Patrol Arrests Naked, Reckless Driver

A 26-year-old Nebraska man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving under suspension after Nebraska State Patrol stopped his vehicle on westbound Interstate 80 in Central Nebraska.

Authorities say that they received a tip about a reckless driver prompting officers to pull the man over near Giltner. He and his passenger, identified as a 26-year-old Nebraska woman were both naked.

I guess driving naked isn’t a crime in Nebraska.

Yankees Pitcher Pleads Guilty To DUI In Nebraska

Yankee ChamberlainJoba Chamberlain, a pitcher for the New York Yankees and Huskers player, plead guilty today to a DUI charge in connection with an October 18 traffic stop on the outskirts of Lincoln, Nebraska.

A story on ESPN.com says that Chamberlain was sentenced to 9 months probation. He also received a 60-day license suspension, $400 fine and must complete an alcohol education class.

Police say that his blood-alcohol level was .134 percent, well above the .08 legal limit in Nebraska.
